It is my distinct honor and privilege to serve as President of Ivy Endowment, Incorporated (IEI). On behalf of our Board of Directors and members, I warmly welcome you to our website and invite you to learn more about our history, our mission, and the meaningful work we are doing throughout Central Indiana.
For more than five decades, Ivy Endowment, Incorporated has been rooted in a powerful vision of education, service, and opportunity. In 1975, our founders embraced the belief that deserving young women should have access to the financial support necessary to pursue higher education and use their knowledge and talents in service to their communities and to humankind. That commitment was formally established in 1979 with the incorporation of Scholarship Fund, Inc., which would later become Ivy Endowment, Incorporated.
Today, that vision continues to guide us.
IEI remains steadfast in our commitment to investing in the educational aspirations of Black girls and women, supporting youth, strengthening families, and positively impacting communities throughout Central Indiana. Through scholarships, community programming, partnerships, and service, we seek not only to honor the vision of those who came before us, but also to expand its impact for generations to come.
Our relationship with Alpha Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® remains an important part of our foundation. The bonds of sisterhood, service, and shared purpose have helped sustain our organization throughout its history and continue to inspire our work today.
As we look toward the future, IEI understands that meaningful service requires us to remain responsive to the evolving needs of the communities we serve. We are committed to strengthening our community presence, expanding partnerships, embracing innovation, and identifying new opportunities to increase our fundraising impact. Each step forward allows us to broaden our reach, award more scholarships, strengthen our programs, and create more opportunities for those we are privileged to serve.
As President, I am grateful to stand upon the remarkable foundation established by the women who came before me. I look forward to working alongside our dedicated members, supporters, community partners, and friends as we write the next chapter of Ivy Endowment, Incorporated.
